The Hairdresser Saga

Judy posted a rant about her hairdresser which we can all relate too. I too had a hairdresser drama this week. Well maybe drama is a bit strong ... more like a moment. Several years ago I used to go to a lady named Juli who owned her own shop in small town a nearby. Well she got a divorce, lost her shop and disappeared for five years. Then this summer I ran into her at hospital. She told me she was working in a shop near my house. As some of you know I was having health problems this year, so a couple months ago having a good day and desperately needing a cut I thought I'd drop in since she told me the shop took walk -ins. She wasn't there but a young girl named Lulu cut my hair and did a great job. I loved the cut which happens to me about once in a decade. Now I have a problem. How do I let Lulu cut my hair without hurting Juli's feelings? Lulu told me the Juli doesn't come in until 10.30AM so I made yesterdays appointment for 9 AM. But couldn't help thinking Juli would come in early and catch me. Honesty is this stupid or what? This is just business why do I feel so guilty? But I have to say once again I was very pleased with the cut so I'll have keep sneaking in to see Lulu. LOL

You are a woman...that's why you have this problem. We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

My hairdresser story? My mom was a hairdresser for 35 years. She recently retired, but can still cut hair. She lives with me. But, I found a lady who cuts my hair perfectly. I pay her $37 and mom is free. I just told mom the truth. I like the way "P" cuts my hair better. It was tough, but I have to live with the hair style!

This is so funny and I have been through this myself. The idea of hurting feelings is hard, huh.

I want to call my hairdresser and let her know how upset I am but I'm not sure if I should. I would keep going to Lulu if you like her. I do like my lady but I'm don't like how I got treated yesterday by her. I think a lot of people have gone through something like what we've both experienced.

My story is worse! I have found only ONE hairdresser who knows how to cut my hair...then we moved 1800 miles! When we go back to visit, I always give her a call, charm her with a good tip, and get a cut. Problem is, those visits are only every other year! Sigh!

Oh I do understand. I uase to let a lady at church my hair but she was so rude to me that I stopped going. Now when I see her at church she just glares at me and won't speak to me. I feel bad for leaving her shop. If she had been nice and did a good job I wouldn't have left.
Hugs,
