Yuk, We've lived in our house for thirty years never had a problem until last week and we got a sewer back up flood in our family room and basement. Our house is a bi-level so we're living in the up stairs while the basement and family room are in repair. State Farm was very prompt in getting Service Master out here getting things cleaned up ,sanitized and hauled away. Now we wait for new drywall and carpet. Lucky we got our new furniture out before the water go to it.

Yucko! What a mess. I'm glad you were able to get the furniture out and that the clean-up is already under way. Hang in there.
what a nightmare! I hope nothing important was ruined...and glad that things are already getting fixed! hugs!
oh yuck!!! A sewer back-up would be one of my worst nightmares! (being the germ freak that I am!) Hope everything is on the mend now.
