I hate my hair! It's fine and soft curly . I'd like a blunt cut like this which they can do at the salon and it looks great.But as soon as I shampoo it curls up and looks like its been cut with pinking shears. Yuk What is one to do?

Why is it we always want (for our hair) what we don't have? Any curl or curve is long gone from my hair, so I always end up with those blunt cuts and that even requires more daily maintenance than I want in my life.
At my last haircut, the haridresser told me, "Your hair REQUIRES heat." Who could imagine such a crazy idea?
I don't like my hair either. Funny how that goes! I have thought of coloring it as it seems my white hair makes people think I am ten years older than I am. However, my kids and friends all say....oh, you're hair is so pretty.....so I shelve the idea of color and stay with what nature has given me. :-)
Iowa is a great state! Born in Fort Dodge, raised in Lehigh. It's still home even though I've lived in MN longer than I ever spent in Iowa. :-)
