Sunday.

The mass is somewhat different than I'm used to. Hard to keep up.
We wanted to go out in the boat yesterday but the wind was so bad 50  an hour gusts. Had a great  rain last night everything smells so... fresh this morning and the frogs are going crazy.
  Working  on Kelsey's quilt is going slow. I have to make at least two blocks a day.
  We ran around yesterday looking for numbers for the boat. Seems every hardware has them but not all and every place has a different size. Bill want's them to be consistent.
  I must go forth and sew :)

Something is wrong !

everytime I try to log in I have problems . Thing someone has highjacked my blog. Grrr.

Post Vacation Depression.

I so seldom post on my blog anymore. I guess because I can't post photos from the IPad seems pointless. I have to get out the lap top that's slow and annoying .But will try to do better. Bill journals everyday. How many men do u know that do that ? . I admire his stick to it ness.
   We just returned from an eleven day vacation to Iowa and MN. I think I have post vacation depression . My flower beds are getting sad looking after nearly two weeks of neglect . Two red tomatoes eaten by bugs. A bunch of green ones but the weather is turning cold here already in WI so don't think they will even get ripe. The Boo pumpkins look good though. .
   I have to get back to quilting on Lexiys quilt. My goal was June for her birthday. Then got sick so set my sites on Christmas.

So Sad

I lost a good friend this week. Marge was one of those friend that are one in a million. We just clicked. I miss her so much.very depressed

My niece Trudie has a Fox Terrier ,Jeziy  is a jack Russell . we argue who's dog is the cutest. I'm sure Jeziy wins  :).

Five Week Jump Start.

OK more hair talk, as I wrote in my earlier post I decided to let my hair grow for a year. Since it was so short thought I would try to give it a jump start. I have herard  good things about this Fast Shampoo. So I will try it for five weeks. If it fulfills their promises my hair should grow an inch in that time.

Winter Adventure.

We had a heat wave today was up in the 40's . Since we're starting our diet Jan.1 thought we would get some Pizza and drive out to the lakes and take some pictures. So off we go fat dumb and happy .
 Well best laid plans of mice and men.  Things went pretty well at first. We ate Pizza , afterward got Jeziy out of her car crate so she could enjoy the ride on my lap and headed for the lake. We intended to stop at Stors Lake and the go on to Gibbs Lake.
    We drove down Stors Lake road to the dock access as we stared down the steep hill to the dock area the rode looked slushy but drivable. Joking I said to Bill " we're not going to get stuck are we?"
Bill joking still said " Probably ."  Well guess what? We got stuck . Two hours  later and $108. Poorer for the tow truck we gave up on going to Gibbs Lake limped home to hunker down and wait until spring..
 Oh , we'll be over it in a couple days .Big freeze coming tomorrow soon we can be doing donuts on the lake. :) Do love living in WI.
