On Vacation!

Last week Omaha and Lake Okoboj ,this week Enid OK. Having a great time. Things change so much up in N.W. Iowa. Visited the farm I grew up on, out building dilapidated or totally down just a pile of rubble. House looks neglected . About 30 to 50 junk cars in the barn yard or grove. Wonder if it isn't an environmental mess.Who knows what those rusting cars are leaking into the earth.Sad... makes me angry the way people let things go.

Well maybe not, Construction Co. inspector came out looked around and found some work he wasn't happy with. Things I didn't even notice, bubbles in the paint, door sticking etc. So here I am stuck at home waiting for painters and carpenters again.

I know, I know , it should be before and then after but this is the way the pictures came up and I haven't time or inclination to change them. Anyway here's our all new family room and sewing room. They finally finished it Fri. Yes! It's so nice to have it done.

Soapbox Day.

Gripe #1 -Rush Limbaugh..... who listens ( and believes) this guy ? Scary to think about. If your a fan, sorry but I think he's a dangerous .

Gripe #2 -Some of the pictures on Facebook. One of my granddaughter's friends put a picture of herself on her back on a table with her knees up ,skirt up and a guy standing between her legs leaning forward. They both had pants on ( I think) But what the heck !!!! Isn't that soft porno? What is wrong with these people? What ever happened to modesty and dignity?? Oh my gosh I'm so glad I'm not raising children today.

Not Much to Say...

I just want my house back to normal and clean!! The construction guys are causing so much dirt and dust I've given up fighting dust . DH and I are about to run out screaming.
